It is strange that a librarian cannot read a paragraph without garbling its contents. Jonnie Hargis perpetrates a total misreading of Dr Neander's post #78 in this thread then deletes all of Dr. Neander's clarifying posts. I summarize his misreading in my post #2862 here. Note especially the Moderator's hypocrisy in demanding sources from Dr Neander whilst allowing Hannover to make unsourced wild conjectures about Halbreich's supposed criminality.

1. Always say the grave site is too small or too large, whilst ignoring the blatant contradiction between these two positions.

2. Call your opponent a "Jew bitch", "Jew lie" or "Judeo-supremacist", whilst insisting that there's no such thing as antisemitism.

3. Ignore the fact that Jewish religious laws have prohibitions against the disturbance of human remains. Demand full autopsies that would contravene these laws.

6. Pretend that only those parts of an excavation that are published on-line were actually carried out. If it's not on-line, it doesn't exist! Forget that this would rule out nearly all historical studies of mass killings or criminal cases ever conducted.

7. Insist that German wartime documents and perpetrator eyewitnesses do not constitute real evidence, without explaining why.

8. Insist that if every victim cannot be identified by name, or if victim estimates change over time, this proves that the killings did not occur. Ignore this rule when discussing the firebombing of Dresden or crimes against ethnic Germans in Eastern Europe.

9. Keep demanding to be shown 'just one' sample of a bone fragment, tooth or other type of human remains. When asked about the relevance of your demand, ignore the question and repeat the demand. When shown photographs of human remains found at a Nazi mass killing site, yell that it has not been proven that these are actually a) human remains and b) Jewish human remains. Alternatively, argue that such remains could have been brought there from the local cemetery.

10. Apply the "falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus" fallacy to any source (e.g. eyewitness accounts given to Father Desbois), without reference to any established legal or historiographical rules that would justify such a negationist approach to the evidence.

CODOH and Shawcross

It has been established beyond any reasonable doubt that statements attributed to Hartley Shawcross in which he supposedly claimed that "we are forced to realise that Hitler was right" are false. Furthermore, anyone who Googles the words "Shawcross Stourbridge" will find this full debunking in one of the first returned search results.

It is therefore instructive that, when a user named Reviso began this thread on the topic, the moderator (Jonnie 'Hannover' Hargis) did not ask him for a source for the quote. His 'show me' rhetoric was notably absent from his reply. Instead, he gave this bogus reasoning:

My reason for "supposedly" is that it is quoted frequently but I have never seen the text of the speech in any traditional publication, that doesn't mean it does not exist. A local newpaper where the speech was given may have carried the text. I haven't spend much time on it as I do not find the contents particularly unique.

Usually the meaning and implications of such quotes is what people want to debate. And as I have stated, finding support for it's content is easy. IOW, it follows that someone like Shawcross would eventually make such statements.

So, in direct contradiction of his approach towards any Holocaust documentation, Hargis's approach to the bogus statements attributed to Shawcross is to state that:

1. Pro-Nazi evidence may still be genuine even if it cannot be produced!

2. Even if Shawcross did not make pro-Nazi statements, and we can't produce a quote by anyone else with his background saying them, we can still assume that "it follows that someone like Shawcross would eventually make such statements."

Hence we have proof that Hargis has no real interest in 'evidence' as such, and his 'show me' calls were always a sham.

Furthermore, a CODOH user called Lamprecht currently has the false quote as his signature, without any action being taken by the 'moderator'.

Jonathan’s last blog …

… led the cretin of "Revisionist" cretins, Greg Gerdes (who is probably identical with this illustrious "White" specimen, and who thought I had written that blog), to display his low intellect and lower character in bitching about me on this thread of the "CODOH Revisionist Forum" (where I, as the coward well knows, am not allowed to post).

And as he's so eager to talk to me and I'm not allowed to post on CODOH, I suggest he come over to the RODOH forum for some real open debate on the Holocaust (as opposed to the censorship-protected mutual backslapping among "Revisionist" true believers that one sees on CODOH). He can then tell me what’s supposed to have been so laughable about my arguments on those CODOH threads, and explain why, if my arguments were so laughable, Hargis considered it necessary to delete or retain some of my posts (as documented on the RODOH thread A message to Jonnie Hannover Hargis ...).

If he’s not just some other fellow’s sock-puppet, that is.

I just finished reading something he posted on another group where he says that in addition to the 6 million jews there were also 7.9 million non jews who were also "murdered".

Even the lowest of these totals (7,131,000) exceeds by far not only the 5 million non-Jewish victims “invented” by Simon Wiesenthal but also the highest estimates (around 6 million) of Jews who died at the hands of the Nazi “killing apparatus”. If we consider Nick Terry’s minimum estimate of ca. 5,364,000 Jewish victims of Nazi persecution, the minimum total of people who died at the hands of the Nazi “killing apparatus” would be 5,364,000 + 7,131,000 = 12,495,000, thereof 43 % Jews and 57 % non-Jews.

NfB doesn’t seem to be a very attentive reader. But I’m glad he visits this blog, for this means he will also read the present article and thus be informed about my invitation to open debate on RODOH.

A confused person is what NfB seems to be indeed, and also one not interested in historical fact and notoriously ignorant. Maybe he should start by informing himself about the population of the European countries mentioned in my above-quoted list during World War II. Next he may take a look at World War II casualties in those countries, wherein the non-combatants who perished through criminal violence by Nazi Germany and its allies are included.

First of all, it's not 13.9 million, as I prefer the lower range of estimates on the number of Jewish victims of Nazi mass murder. According to my calculations quoted above, it's at least 12.5 million, thereof 43 % Jews and 57 % non-Jews.

Second, it's amusing to see Hargis emulating the "not ONE" – rhetoric of his fellow coward, liar and obnoxious fish-wife Greg Gerdes.

And third, one only sees no mass graves if one sticks one's head in the sand, ostrich-style, like the characters on this caricature by Dr. Seuss :

Hargis Defends the Robbery of Jewish Property by the Nazi State

At the height of his public embarrassment, Hargis spews forth his antisemitic filth here:

Revisionists do not argue that Jews were not deported, relocated, and at times had their assets seized (assets that many felt were nefariously gained).

Hargis does not tell us who this 'many' were and he does not cite any evidence for this supposedly popular viewpoint, which he makes clear that he shares.

Butz and Hargis Expose Themselves to Ridicule

Even by 'revisionist' standards, the latest claim made by Butz, and defended by his dullard lapdog Hargis, beggars belief. In this astonishingly ill-educated essay, Butz claims that, when Himmler wrote his famous "keine liquidierung" note, "Himmler was either reporting to Heydrich that the transport had not been canceled, or in some sense discussed the fact with him." In the crazy world of Butz, 'liquidated' therefore meant 'canceled' when used by the head of the SS.

You would think that Hargis would steer clear of this idiocy, but instead he has placed both feet firmly in his mouth. He has devoted this CODOH thread to the issue and then ignored or deleted the multiple objections thrown up by his brethren, especially Wahrheit's excellent points about chronology (Himmler's note was written after the transport had already arrived in Riga) and Himmler's reprimand of Jeckeln. Fortunately, this thread at RODOH has captured the discussion as it has developed, and preserved Warheit's deleted rebuttal.

Let us firstly summarize the linguistic issues. Hargis uses the 'Scheiffler-Weiss German and English Dictionary', 1981, to claim that liquidierung means "to wind up pending affairs." However, it is clear from on-line dictionaries that this function of the word only applies to the liquidation of a company by a financial liquidator. Googling the quoted text "wind up existing affairs" brings up only the CODOH thread and this Korean guide to the role of a liquidator. Butz and Hargis must therefore know that they are abusing a financial linguistic application by imposing it on Himmler's far more obvious meaning. This is recognized on the CODOH thread by 'Vlad', who posted on date and time stamp "Sat Nov 01, 2008 9:29 pm" that:

Butz's German seems to be very limited indeed, otherwise he wouldn't have come up with such a far-fetched "theory". One doesn't liquidate trains or transports, neither in English nor in German.

However, whereas Vlad seems prepared to put this down to poor German, Butz has no such excuse, because he says he discussed his essay with German-born Germar Rudolf before the latter was deported. We can imagine how Germar must have raised his eyebrows in disbelief before encouraging Butz to blunder on with his project anyway. Such is Rudolf's dishonesty and Butz's willingness to deny linguistic evidence.

The real meaning of 'liquidierung' in SS usage is made clear in Longerich's 'Glossary' prepared for the Lipstadt trial:

1.5 For example, in January 1942 the head of the Gestapo, Müller, issued an ordinance according to which terms such as "liquidation" (Liquidation) and "liquidate" (liquidieren) were words "used by the Soviet rulers". In German reports, essays, etc. such terms should only be used in this connection.

As jnovitz acknowledges on the CODOH thread, Goebbels imported this Soviet usage into his Total War speech, when he said:

The German people, in any event, is unwilling to bow to this danger. Behind the oncoming Soviet divisions we see the Jewish liquidation commandos, and behind them terror, the specter of mass starvation and complete anarchy

Similarly, Vlad points out that:

Cornelia Schmitz-Berning in her Vokabular des Nationalsozialismus (p. 390) quotes a press directive, issued in November 1941, in which the replacement of standrechtliche Erschießung [shooting under martial law] by liquidieren was censored as "highly inappropriate".

Butz and Hargis really should have thought this through before subjecting themselves and their movement to this public embarrassment.

Part of these posts is related to my visits between 14 and 16 October 2008 to the area of former Sobibor extermination camp, where I was supposed to meet Gerdes, his sister-in-spirit "Eireann Goddess" (EG) and the lady’s attorney and personal bodyguards on 15.10.2008 at 10 hours local time. I showed up, they did not. Not a big surprise for who has come across as many bigmouthed "Revisionist" windbags as I have.

But the reason for my going to Sobibor was not, or not only, an expected confrontation with this scum of mankind. I had booked the trip in the hope that there would be excavations by the Sobibor Archaeological Project at this time, and when this hope did not materialize, I decided that it would nevertheless be worthwhile to familiarize myself with the location and see what the mass grave areas identified in 2001 by Prof. Andrzej Kola and partially visible on air and satellite photographs, which are the subject of this article, looked like from ground perspective. I also wanted to check the accuracy of information on the Wikipedia page about Sobibor, referred to in this article's 3rd Update, that "close to the burial pits, bone fragments still litter the area".

What I found on site is recorded in the photographs and stills from video films available on the RODOH thread My Trip to Sobibor.

The bone fragments I came upon in some parts of the area around the "ash mountain" memorial, especially by the path leading to the memorial and in places where soil had been dug up by wild animals or by robbery diggers, confirmed the Wikipedia information quoted above. I therefore inserted a footnote reference to the aforementioned RODOH thread on the Wikipedia page. Below are some of the photos of bone fragments I took at Sobibor.















Some of the bone fragments I found show clear signs of having been burned. Particularly interesting are the bone fragments white on the outside and black on the inside, of which the photo series above shows two. I presume that these colors show different stages of calcination, the white being the more advanced stage.

Besides bone fragments, I also found lumps of a white-gray substance with a chalk-like consistency that I couldn't identify, which are shown in the photos below:





On the RODOH thread Can I come too?, where my finds are also being discussed, the poster "nexgen586" (post # 652) has speculated that these lumps might consist of lime, either unslaked lime used in body disposal or slaked lime used for construction.

Of no less interest than certain objects lying around there is the aspect of the area itself, namely the holes or budges suggesting abnormal earth movement and the obvious contrast in vegetation growth between various parts of the area. I have tried to convey both in some of my photographs and video film stills, for instance the following:

At this point I felt tempted to dig a deep hole and see if I came upon further bone fragments or other remains. I didn't do so because I didn't have the required permission, but I think this is definitely what should be done, in the context of current endeavors by the Sobibor Archaeological Project and its competitors at University of Hartford to document this Nazi extermination camp and fight Holocaust denial by archaeological means.

For what can be a more effective means to fight "Revisionism" than bringing the contents of the mass graves to the surface, having the human cremation remains analyzed by a forensic expert to certify that they are human remains, quantifying them as precisely as possible, and thoroughly documenting with reports, photographs and video clips every step of the process, ever single core sample, every layer of human ashes and every human bone, bone fragment and tooth that is found?

And what can be less effective in this context than an archaeological reconstruction of the Sobibor extermination camp that does not include a detailed and throurough investigation and documentation of the contents of the Sobibor mass graves?

As I already said in my previous update, the former would be a deadly blow to "Revisionism". The latter, on the other hand, would be much hard work not worth the effort.

It should be added that thoroughly documenting the contents of the mass graves is probably easier, in terms of archaeological work, than identifying the remains of the gas chamber building or other structures or objects in the camp. For in the former respect archaeologists can take advantage of the work done in 2001 by Prof. Andrzej Kola. In an article recently brought to my knowledge, written in 2001 for a bulletin of the Rada ochrony pamieci walk i meczenstwa ("Council for Protection of the Memory of Fighting and Martyrdom", a semi-official Polish entity that is in charge of memorials), Prof. Kola described the location and essential features of the mass graves, and also plotted them on two maps attached to the article. These are the maps:





And this is an English translation of the text describing the mass graves, which I recently obtained from a Polish lady living in Portugal:

Grave no 1 is located in the north - eastern part of hectare 17, just west from the memorial to victims. The site was excavated by 27 drills. Horizontally, it measures 20 x 20 m and is up to 4.30 m deep. It was a body burning grave.

Grave no 2 is located in the western part of the hectare 17, south from the memorial. It was excavated by 28 drills. Horizontally its shape is irregular, measuring at least 20 x 25 m – with its longer side in NS position – and with depth up to 4 metres. It was a body burning grave.

Grave no 3 is located in the south- western part of hectare 11 and north - western part of hectare 17. It was excavated by 17 drills. Horizontally, it's irregular, measuring around 20 x 12 m - with its longer side in NS position. The biggest part of the grave is located under north - western part of the memorial. It’s up to 5.80 m deep. In bottom layers, the grave is bony, with human remains in wax- fat transformation. The upper layers are a mixture of burnt body remains with layers of lime stone, sand and charcoal. The northern part of the grave is located near to northern part of the grave no 4. The more precise location of the graves requires additional research.

Grave no 4. It’s a grave with significant size, located in southern part of hectare 11, as well as northern and central parts of hectare 18. It was excavated by 78 drills. Horizontally, in NS position, it measures 70 x 20-25 m with the depth of around 5m. In bottom layers the grave is bony, with human remains in wax- fat transformation. The upper layers are a mixture of burnt body remains with layers of lime stone, sand and charcoal.

Grave no 5. It’s not a very vast grave, located in the north-western part of hectare 18. It was excavated by 7 drills. Horizontally, it's irregular, measuring at least 10 – 12 m, with its depth up to 4.90 m. In its bottom layers the grave is bony, with human remains in wax-fat transformation. In the upper layers – burnt body remains.

Grave no 6. It’s located in the central part of hectare 18, south from grave no 5. It was excavated by 22 drills. Horizontally, it’s irregular, measuring at least 15 x 25 m, with its depth up to 3.05 m. In its bottom layers the grave is bony, with human remains in wax-fat transformation. The upper layers - burnt body remains.

Grave no 7. Location of body burning activity, measuring at least 10 x 3 m, with its depth up to 0.90 m, in the central part of hectare 18, around 10-12 m south from the southern side of grave 4. The vast majority of burnt body remains were found in 6 drills. Around, vast ground transformation of an uncertain genesis. Only because of the burnt body remains found, the structure was thought of as a grave. In order to state the function of the place more accurately, further archaeological research needs to be conducted.

Comparing the above description with the second of the maps shown above, I noticed some mistakes in the mention of geographical directions, namely confusions between "north-eastern" and "north-western". These mistakes, as the translator confirmed, are in Prof. Kola's original text. By reading the respective geographical directions correctly, I managed to pinpoint the graves described on the map, as follows:



The mass graves visible on air and satellite photographs, shown before in this article, are pointed out below according to Prof. Kola's numbering sequence (graves 2, 6, 3 and 4), as are the graves not clearly distinguishable from satellite perspective (graves 1, 5 and 7):



So the mass grave areas are known with what seems to me a degree of precision sufficient to delimit the area where further core drilling and excavation should be done. And new technologies like ground-penetrating radar can further help archaeologists determine where exactly they can expect to find human remains.

This being so, and the given the willingness on the part of at least one of the archaeologists involved (Yoram Haimi, director of the Sobibor Archaeological Project) to do a thorough professional job, the only hindrances standing in the way of documenting in detail what's inside the Sobibor mass graves and thus hitting "Revisionists" where it hurts most are "holy ground" considerations on the part of the Polish government, and eventually also religiously motivated objections against "disturbing the dead".

I hope that these hindrances will soon be overcome. Historical and archaeological knowledge would greatly benefit from it, and I can think of no better way to honor the memory of the people murdered at Sobibor than documenting their remains in as much detail as possible.

The result of this attempt, as always when Greg Gerdes opens up, is a comedy of feeble-minded nonsense, which I shall now take a closer look at.

In my post # 1405 on the VNN thread Archeological Investigations of Treblinka, I had commented a similar "no human remains" remark by Gerdes as follows:

Maybe that’s because the authors are not as obsessed with human remains as Gerdes is but more interested in the camp’s structures such as the gas chamber building (why would they have a gas chamber building at a "transit camp", Mr. Gerdes?)

Or because a geophysical survey is likely to detect metal and other objects (for the excavation of which permission has already been obtained, if they are not lying close to the surface) and show ground disturbances, but less likely to pinpoint human remains let along bring them to the surface, excavation or core drilling for human remains requiring a permission that has not yet been granted.

Which in turn would mean that, if he has not shot himself in the foot by quoting the above, "forensic historian" Gerdes has at least shown that he knows as much about forensics and archaeology as he knows about history, i.e. as much as a pig knows about Sunday.

After Gerdes didn’t come back to the "human remains" issue in subsequent posts, I thought he had got the message and accordingly wrote the following, in my post # 1416:

However, the archaeologists currently mapping the site are obviously less interested in picking up bone fragments from the ground than in finding personal objects from the victims, camp structures and objects related to the camp's operation, as the Hartford video suggests.

Gerdes is obviously referring to an e-mail message he received on 01.09.2008 from Yoram Haimi, which he mentioned in his thread My email to archeological 'expert' Yoram Haimi. In that e-mail Yoram had written (emphasis added):

Concerning the 'huge white mound' in the photo - this is a polished monument which partially covers the remains of ash and human bone fragments (the mass grave). In the photo you should be able to make out three green concentrations of ash and human bone fragments located beyond the monument.

Nothing about concrete here, as we can see – that was again Gerdes’ fantasy at work (readers of the 1st update may remember that Gerdes spun a conspiracy theory about a "concrete top" having been placed on the “ash mountain” monument "to prevent it from being investigated"). And the term "polished" in Yoram’s e-mail, as the same explained to me in a subsequent Skype conversation, was meant to say "Polish" – a Polish monument.

One could certainly dig into the "ash mountain" and analyze the results – but only after obtaining an official permission to remove the white rock covering the "ash mountain" and to do excavation underneath, which shouldn’t be exactly easy to obtain considering the Polish government’s touchiness about this "holy Polish ground" area. Gerdes’ idea of the real world doesn’t seem to have progressed beyond kindergarten level yet.

I don't think the video shows if the depressions are in the parts of the area around the monument where Prof. Kola identified mass graves in 2001, but even if they are they may or may not be related to the excavation and backfilling of the mass graves or to subsequent robbery digging. Mr. Reeder is stating that the nature of these depressions must be analyzed instead of jumping to conclusions about what they mean, something that an unscientific howler like Gerdes obviously has trouble understanding.

Remember, Muehlenkamp claimed that there were graves up to 7 meters deep, and all we heard was "it looks like the edge of a TRENCH."

Muehlenkamp never claimed anything other than what he knows from Prof. Kola’s study or the current archaeological excavations, and Gerdes is obviously trying to make believe that the trench suggested by the GPR and described in the Hartford video by geophysicist Paul Bauman is a) not so deep and b) the only one in the area around the monument. Actually neither of both can be inferred from Mr. Bauman's statements or other parts of the video (i.e. Gerdes got carried away by his wishful thinking), while on the other hand it is significant that a ground pattern suggesting a trench has been detected by GPR in what is possibly one of the mass grave areas identified by Prof. Kola, four of which are visible on my edited enlargement of the pertinent section from the above-mentioned satellite photograph:



If the trench mentioned by Paul Bauman is in one of these areas, the GPR has provided further evidence to the presence of mass graves. Unsurprisingly, Gerdes is unable to grasp this simple logic.

Gerdes knows as well as I do, from our long discussions on VNN, that the current archaeological investigators don't have any core samples from Prof. Kola’s archaeological investigation at their disposal, or even information as to the exact spots in the area where these samples were collected (which would be the minimum they need to match GPR finds with core drilling finds). In other words, the liar is (again) trying to make believe, against better knowledge, that Prof. Kola's investigation in 2001 and the current archaeological research, which are actually unrelated to each other, are part of one and the same undertaking.

The "alleged core samples" that Gerdes refers to are the following, already shown in previous updates:







Readers of the aforementioned VNN thread may have noticed that Gerdes has still not managed, or even tried, to provide a plausible alternative explanation as to what, other than ashes of human bone and tissue, the light-gray substance visible on the first two sample photos might be. Or what, other than either lime or bone ash, might be the white substance visible in the third sample. Those core samples must be giving him nightmares, like the satellite photo he shot himself in the foot with.

The "again" is referring to my having ignored the last copy-and-paste repetition of Gerdes' list of imbecilic question in post # 1039 on page 51 of our Topix discussion, after having pointed out several times – last in my preceding post # 1038 – that and where those questions had been answered, and commented that

You should bring the contents of the mass graves to the surface, have the human cremation remains analyzed by a forensic expert to certify that they are human remains, quantify them as precisely as possible, and thoroughly document with reports, photographs and video clips every step of the process, ever single core sample, every layer of human ashes and every human bone, bone fragment and tooth that you find.

If you do that you can deal a deadly blow to Holocaust "Revisionism".

If you don’t, your hard work won’t be worth the effort. Take this from someone who has been debating "Revisionists" and dissecting their arguments for the past eight years.

As even someone as ignorant and distant from reality as Gerdes should know, archaeological excavations are not something that anyone can just come and watch. Archaeological work and archaeological finds are delicate matters, and archaeologists are accordingly supposed to be very careful about who they allow on site during an excavation. What's funny in this context is that one of Gerdes’ more developed brothers-in-faith, a certain "Karl Von Clausewitz", gave me a speech about how "you can't attend an archeological dig without being a qualified archeologist, or contracted to assist in the digging, etc." (see KVC’s post # 1346 on the VNN thread Archeological Investigations of Treblinka and my response to the fellow in post # 1349 on the same thread).

As to why Gerdes is not likely to deserve being granted the privilege of watching the Sobibor Archaeological Project's work on site, unlike me and presumably also other persons interested in their work, Gerdes gave the reason himself when he asked:

A proven psychotic, pathological liar – that’s the most appropriate characterization of Gerdes I can think of. The same applies to those he calls "real archeologists or historians", by which he obviously means other "Revisionist" charlatans, though not necessarily to the same extent as it does to Gerdes, whose paranoia and compulsive mendacity stand out even in "Revisionist" cloud-cuckoo-land. Of course these people are also the least impartial observers one can think of, and "interested parties" I would not call them either, insofar as evidence to what happened at places like Sobibor during World War II is the last thing they are interested in.

Surprisingly Laurentz Dahl, who is arguably the only poster with some intelligence in the Cesspit, joined the chorus of cretins with his post of Wed Sep 24, 2008 1:05 pm. But then, even the brighter "Revisionists" can’t help being the trash they are.

What’s not surprising is that Gerdes managed to exceed the inanity of his buddies' utterances with the following wisdom, see his post Wed Sep 24, 2008 8:21 pm:

Isn't it funny, if a few bits of bone fragments are supposed to be evidence of mass murder, then there are about - oh, a trillion piles of such evidence for mass murder spread around the state of Montana. Gee, who woulda-thunk-it that one could find some bones in the woods?

If bone fragments happened to litter the area around known mass graves in a place where all known evidence shows mass murder to have occurred, such as Sobibor, they would be evidence to mass murder among other evidence, of course. As I have often said on the VNN thread Archeological Investigations of Treblinka, Gerdes should get himself a brain.

But Gerdian brilliance didn't stop there.

Gerdes:

The fact is, not so much as one single bone fragment proven to be human has ever been located / proven to exist at Sobibor. Not one single grave has been located that contains a single body or even an ounce of human bone, an ounce of human ash, or even so much as a single human tooth. NOT ONE!

As even Gerdes should understand, the presence of bone fragments at a place where mass murder is shown by all known evidence to have occurred is at least prima facie evidence that the bone fragments are fragments of human bones, meaning that the burden of proving that the bone fragments are not human lies with who so alleges.

As to his "not one single grave" prayer, the fellow is obviously trying to tell us that there are no human remains underneath four notably greener areas clearly visible on the below commented enlargement of a section from a satellite photo kindly provided by Gerdes himself:



Never mind that Gerdes has no explanation – just the hollow "turf building" and "landscaping" conspiracy theories mentioned in the 1st update – for the distinctly greener coloration of the areas I numbered, for which the fertilizing effect of the human remains underneath is a plausible explanation also in line with the evidence.

Never mind that these green areas coincide with mass grave areas identified and mapped by a renowned professional archaeologist in 2001, mostly on the basis of core drills resulting in soil samples like those shown in the following photos:







which reveal subsoil layers of light-gray and white substances that are obviously ashes of bone and tissue (the former) and bone ash or lime (the latter), without Gerdes being able to provide an alternative explanation.

Never mind that Gerdes cannot explain away the fact that all eyewitnesses to what happened at Sobibor in 1942/43 described an extermination camp, including former inmates cross-examined at trials before West German courts and former members of the SS staff like Karl Frenzel.

Never mind, last but not least, that Gerdes cannot explain why the alleged transportation via "transit camp" Sobibor to the Nazi-occupied Soviet territories and resettlement there of at least about 150,000 Jews (the number of deportees to Sobibor that can be established on hand of documentary evidence alone) left no single transportation or administrative document, not the tiniest piece of the expectably huge paper trail that such an operation would have generated, and neither a single out of thousands upon thousands of expectable eyewitnesses. Or why only several dozen of those deportees were still alive at the end of World War II.

FYI - The only human bones (which were known to the jews to be from a non jew), that were ever to be seen at Sobibor (in the glass display case), have disappeared!

As mentioned in the 1st update, the glass display containing human remains that can be seen on this photo, featured in the Archives of The Ghetto Fighters House and included in my thread Mass Graves and Dead Bodies:



is not part of the "ash mountain" monument anymore. Why the glass display was removed and where its contents were placed is not known to either me or Gerdes. But Gerdes wouldn’t be Gerdes if he didn’t have a faith-conforming conspiracy theory at hand:

They are now, most likely, under the anti-investigation cap put over the "huge mountain of human remains" so frauds like Yoram can say with a straight face that the "ash" mountain "contains" human remains. Not - comprised of, but "contains."

Go figure. The rest must have been abducted by flying saucers, if one is to accept the "transit camp" theory proclaimed by the likes of Gerdes.

Actually I don’t remember having seen a description or photo caption concerning the "ash mountain" monument at Sobibor that called it a "huge" mountain of human remains.

Not an iota underneath these green areas coinciding with an archaeologist’s mapping of mass graves, right?



Not an iota of evidence speaking against the conclusion that at least 150,000 people were murdered at Sobibor and their remains lie buried in this area, that’s what we have.

And not an iota of the honesty and courage it would take for Gerdes to admit this, of course.

Gerdes:

Maybe 65 years just isn't enough time?

Maybe 8 years just isn’t enough time?

Maybe $100,000.00 just isn't enough of an incentive?

Maybe the jews just don't want to put an end to holocaust denial?

Or maybe it’s just not considered necessary by most to further disturb the peace of the dead in order to further confirm or increase knowledge about something that has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt already.

And maybe one should also bear in mind that graveyards and mass graves are not places where one can do archaeological digging just like that, without an official permission that must overcome considerations of respect for the peace of the dead existing, as far as I know, in any culture and religion, and that won’t be granted any faster just because a sick and cowardly liar waves a reward he will obviously avoid having to pay no matter what evidence he is shown.
